Supporting Our Culture and Securing
a Place for Our People
Last week, June 28, 2014, we celebrated our 12th Annual Indian Day, an Observance
Members within the Circle who volunteer and work hard everyday and People of the Greater community who provide and help all people.
Yet without adequate resources we the CBCC pooled our resources together along with the many nations and tribes to secure a home for a cultural center that's much needed for the many thousands of Elders, and Youth of Non-Resevation Indian decent and those Indians who live on the Reservations. Beginning June 28th, was our first series of Indian Days to raise the needed funds for our multi-purpose facility. A priority that is desperately needed for the many Elders and Youth who are not getting their cultural heritage. Our Elders are our parents our Aunts, Uncles and our Grandparents. They should not have to fear that one day they may not have a place to stay and spiritual cultural refuge.
We are proud of our work to preserve Indian Culture and Heritage and all of our work to restore that which was lost. We owe it to the ancestors to ensure that our people are protected and cared for. We thank Grandfather, Master Fard Muhammad and his Shepherding Chief Messenger Elijah Muhammad for his protection and grace.
To All Council Members and the General Membership, both private and public who sent DONATIONS for our advancement. WE THANK YOU. All your efforts were very much appreciated.
May your support continue and may Grandfather continue your success. We will spend the monies to advance the Non-Reservation Indian Causes.
I still Remain: Yours Truly, Shaman Red Deer
